Memories of a Lifetime

October 14, 1945 – December 12, 2022

2000s and Beyond

As the century Joseph turned had a blast fishing; reluctantly became a “senior citizen” yet never lost his silly side; relished in the beauty of nature, dinosaurs, & had many fun adventures with Amber; lost his mom in 2012 and his own life way too soon.

1990s

Soared to new heights flying his Pitts, while working & playing with “Cosmic” Karey at Tony Robbins events; Joseph served as the Dean of Crystal Cruise’s Computer University at Sea, & visited Florida friends and family; sadly he lost Brenda, his dad, and Bonnie as the decade ended . . .

1980s

Reveling in Pac Man & pop culture, Joseph wedded Luann in his signature Bossey style; became a general counsel for a tuna boat, an uncle, and an actor; adored his Ferrari, delighted in fishing, skiing, scuba, & ended the decade landing a cameo on The Golden Girls . . .

1970s

Enjoying the California life: Joseph loved driving his motorcycle, red Dodge Van, met Mary, finished college, became an airplane mechanic, got married & lived on a boat while they both became lawyers . . .

1960s

Beginning the decade as king of his class, Joseph then graduated from High School, attended SUNY Oswego, cruised the Caribbean with his family and ended up in the Army at Fort Ord in Monterey, CA . . .

1950s

Growing up in style . . . Joseph got a perm from his mom’s beauty shop at the beginning of the decade; became a wonderful big brother to his baby sister Bonnie, loved baseball, got confirmed, and finished the decade with typical Bossey flair . . .

1940s and Before

Joseph came bouncing into the world in the Big Apple on October 14, 1945 (barely a month after WWII came to an end) to an adoring mom & dad; got christened in February 1946 in NYC, Before Joseph came along, Dad served in the Army Air Corp, and mom attended college & became a beauty school teacher . . .

The Little Prince

Joseph and I shared this passage from The Little Prince in the late 1990s with friends and family to honor the passing of his father Joseph, his sister Bonnie, & his Great Dane Brenda.

I read it to him on the 12th of December this past year.
When you look up at the wondrous night sky, may this passage remind you of Joseph and his love of flowers, flying, and adventure.
